It All Started With A Pile Of Sand
So, in case you haven't heard the news. We got a pool! Its not a huge exciting underground pool or anything... but its a big ol' above ground, blow up pool! Its pretty cool if you ask me. I'm really excited for it. So the whole family is already planning a pool party! Woot! So here are some pictures of this amazing pool in our little backyard. And as you can tell, it all started with a big old pile of sand.

Stage #1: This wasn't easy, dad spent about 3 days to get that stuff in there and all leveled. Then, we broke out the pool!

Stage #2: Layed it all out, and prepared for blowing-uping!

Stage #3: Mom, Dad, and Lee Weekly broke out dad's fancy air blower.. thingy, and fired it up! The fun was just beginning!

Stage #5: Well... at this point, I still wouldn't have called it warm. Actually it was about 45 degrees and I almost got frost bite in that thing. But Rylee insisted we get in that ice bath. Brr.. but it was fun of course. Don't let our faces fool you, it was cold!

Stage #4: Once it was all-blowed-up and filled with water, I of course, immediately felt the urge to play in it, one way or another. Before we were going to get in it, we had to wait till it warmed up a little!

The Final Stage: Ah, finally. Warmth! This was when Lindsey and Matthew (my adorable nephew!!) visited us for a little pool party. It was a lot of fun watching him waddle around the pool in his litle baby-boat. Lindsey and Mom even performed some water aerobics and syncronized swimming. It was... very different. But we love them anyways!
And that everyone, is our pool!
